We Strive to Be Legal Service Providers, Advocates, and Educators
As Legal Service Providers -
We shall be helpful to the people who seek our counsel;
we shall take on the duty to do no harm
as we shepherd the painful burdens, traumas, and ordeals of our clients and their families;
and, we shall not just read, write, and research, but we shall leave the office, and knock on every door if that’s what’s needed to be helpful and do no harm.
As Advocates -
We will address local problems
of public policy and political injustice,
if we believe it may help the immigrant community achieve greater safety and improve their quality of life.
As Educators -
We will help immigrants gain reliable information,
so that they make better decisions
and avoid costly mistakes.
